Description :
Digital literacy is an essential 21st century skill set. Digital literacy requires strong reading and writing skills and includes the ability to use technology effectively, understand digital content, and communicate with digital tools. Librarians, educators, researchers, and policy makers are addressing a broad range of issues, including equity of access and digital inclusion, emerging educational curricula and training modules, and new strategies for public engagement. Members of ALA’s Committee on Literacy and ALA’s Digital Literacy Task Force will share current findings, ongoing initiatives, promising practices, and next steps. Interests :
